I’ve been waiting for Skip Beat 2nd season to come out, so I don’t like to watch any other anime until my sister introduced me to this cute anime — Kimi ni Todoke.

At first I just got intrigued with the opening song because of its cute lyrics and then I tried watching the first episode and eventually got hooked.

Here’s a trailer of the said anime, sorry it doesn’t have English subs.

The anime currently has three episodes, the fourth one will be aired this coming Tuesday. I’m looking forward to the next episode.

I’ve heard this song a dozen times already and I really like the calmness of the singer’s voice. I like this slow and acoustic version more than original Judy Garland version.

I’ve heard this song from the movies Meet Joe Black, 50 First Dates and just recently from a short and sweet film — Struck.

I just found this short film while looking through my friends’ posts at facebook. I’m enjoying short films recently so I’m sharing this one here too. Enjoy!

A very touching story amidst a very tragic event.

I was browsing through some twitter posts when I chanced upon this very touching story. I heard several sad news regarding the disaster that struck my hometown and this one really made me cry out of sadness and pride.

It reminded me of the Pagoda tragedy in the year 1993, where a 13-year old kid named Sajid helped save lives which made him lose his.

Muelmar Magallanes, an 18-year-old construction worker, ended up risking his own life for the life of more than 30 other people in the tragedy that faced Manila after 6 hours of nonstop rain from typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana).
